Ms. Charnise Johnson

  My name is Charnise Johnson (Scott), and I am the counselor for Cypress Cove Elementary. This is my third year at Cypress Cove and my 4th year in total as a school counselor. I am also licensed to provide counseling outside of the school. I am from Shreveport, Louisiana but I have lived in the Lake Charles area since 2015. Mission: To provide a data-driven comprehensive school counseling program that addresses the needs and interests of all students, as it relates to their academic, social-emotional, and college/career development.

Vision: All students will achieve academic success, social emotional growth, and will attain a fulfilling career in the future that is aligned with their interests and abilities.
